INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup masago (capelin roe), orange variety
- 1 ripe avocado, thinly sliced
- 200 g cooked and seasoned sushi rice
- 5 sheets of nori (seaweed)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Pickled ginger and wasabi for serving
Preparation
Start by cutting thin slices of avocado. Mix soy sauce and rice vinegar in a small bowl. Place a cloud sheet on a bamboo sushi rolling mat.
Cooking method
Spread the sushi rice evenly over the clouds, leaving half an inch at the top. Arrange masago and avocado slices along the bottom edge. Drizzle soy sauce and rice vinegar mixture over toppings.
Presentation
Place the Masago Avocado Bliss sushi roll on a decorative platter. Decorate with extra masago on top for a burst of colour. Serve with pickled ginger and wasabi. Enjoy the unique flavours and textures of this dish!
