• 500 g fresh or frozen edamame in pods
• Water
• Sea salt for sprinkling over the pods (optional)

Preparation

Boil water in a large pot.

Cooking method

Add a pinch of salt to the boiling water. Add the edamame pods and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender but still firm. Drain the edamame and place under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Presentation

Serve edamame in a bowl, sprinkled with sea salt if desired. Enjoy edamame by scooping the berries from the pod directly into your mouth. They are a delicious and healthy snack!
